THE FELLAS GOLF LEAGUE OF THE CAPITAL REGION
In the dead of winter, thoughts of manicured lawns,
rolling hills, blue skies, longer days, and warmer
temperatures, seem far away. But the reality is that
special time of year is right around the corner, and for
the those who love to compete, to be challenged by man
and nature, it is a time considered sacred, long-awaited,
and much anticipated! ….
Every weekend, weather permitting and permission
granted, a band of distinguished men, from all walks of
life, meet and greet at one of regions’ finest landscaped
parcels to drive, pitch/chip and putt to participate in
what has become a fiercely competitive, incredibly
rewarding, and well-worth the half-day break from
domesticity, as members of the areas premiere golf
league.
THE SEASON
Unlike traditional golf leagues that are anchored to a
single course, The FELLAS Golf League introduces a
dynamic, tour-style format. The league spans an 18-week
regular season (May-September) across nine (9)
premiere regional golf courses (each played twice)
followed by a four-week postseason tournament. Weekly
Tee times are scheduled to keep the competition fresh
and engaging.
